Well it turns out that he has grown quite a fondness for these pillows and has taken to using his mouth to hold them kind of like a kid holding his blankie.
He doesn't like them moved from "his" spot.
And he will promptly retrieve and return them.

That is just too funny! Maybe it is a security thing like a childs blanket. He certainly is a dog with an attitude :) Dogs are fun.
