Praising God

So last Sunday night our Explorer got broken into.  They took the stereo and Tommy's I-pod which I had bought him on his second 6 month deployment when we lived in Hawaii.  It was engraved on the back with our last name and a special code word we use to tell each other something between us.  Anyhow, it was sad for a moment.  The insurance will not cover it, but I have not found myself angry over this at all.  After-all, I don't have to have these material things, but I really need my car to run which it does and I need my car seat for Faith and it is still there. There are pics below ...they pulled the glovebox out and ransacked it but you know all week I have been thinking how God is so good.  I was just thinking, this morning as I read an email from a very close friend, even more on this.  When we are going through trials we don't think we can handle, when we think we can't fight anymore and we look up and realize it is not our battle but the Lords, we realize how great and mighty He truly is.  My friend, Brooke, needs your prayers very much.  I really am not at liberty to share personal details, but I can tell you she needs prayers on behalf of her husband Patrick.  He is in Iraq and needs your prayers of safety but more than that He needs to know the Lord.  After reading an email of her victory through Christ this morning in praising Him and just letting God have all the burden and letting him fight her battle, I was thinking on that.  Maybe we can all share how we are praising Him today........I am praising God for my salvation, His Ever-present help, His faithfulness, His mercy, because He is my Commander in Chief, and most of all because even when I fail Him- He never fails me!!!!  Hope you can share a comment on why you may be praising God today!!!!

Things Just Happen and things are things!!! Nothing irreplaceable..... definitely does not compare to a soul!
