We came home from a quick trip to Wal-Mart when we turned the corner and our dog-Chopper had gotten into the trash..yet again! He has been doing this since we went on the Chesaw trip this summer and he was around the deer. A freshly killed raw animal will bring out animal instincts, it is only natural. Well, since then occasionally he cannot help pulling the trash out all over the floor and making a huge mess. Tommy and i sigh and start cleaning it up and Faith is off to play in her room. Well, apparently the dog took to going poo in the house as well. (Sometimes I think I might just get rid of him!) He really is a good dog most the time, he rarely ever goes potty in the house when we are gone! Anyhow, Faith must have found this when we were cleaning up the trash because right as we are washing our hands from the clean up Faith walks in with something in her hand and brown on her face and around her mouth. Yes! It is true my little girl ate dog pooh! I think she only took a bite because when she came in she was kinda crying and handing it to us like this is not good! So thus the rushing to the bathroom and washing not only hands and face with a warm soapy rag but also making her say ahhhh and getting the inside of her mouth and her tongue with the soapy rag as well. It was so gross!
Poor kid, I can see it now on the night of her engagement as daddy tells of her eating pooh and asking if this man if he will still be willing to kiss her! :) Luckily I have no pictures on this!

Haha...yes, at the beginning of your post, I was thinking "Oh, wow! What did sweet little Faith SAY?" No doubt she will never live this one down! And I doubt you will never have her eating THAT again!
Oh, yuck, yuck, YUCK! :) What a classic moment, though. I am sure she will just love you retelling it when she is a teenager. I'm sure she has learned her lesson! :) Poor girl.
Oh my word! Myah did the same thing when she was crawling at Josh's moms house. It was dried up poo though, not that that makes it any better. That is so disgusting! Poor faith!
OH MY. My. oh. my. oh. my... there are no words. LOL POOR Faith!!!! Yuck!! I also thought at first... "What? What in the world could that little girl have said? I'm sure she didn't mean it!! April...relax...she's one!" Haha... I am relieved to find out the soap was for hygiene reasons and not training reasons. Bet she'll never do that again. I'm thinking it's dog-sellin time! LOL
Oh...all I have to say is yuck!! and yuck again!! Poor Faith. What a hillarious story you will be able to tell for years to come though. Memories are so fun and precious
Gross ... so very gross. I'm glad none of MY kids do anything like that!
Anyhow - my kitchen's been busy . . . how bout yours?
oh, poor lil Faith. That is so gross! Maybe you should punish Chopper and reverse the roll on him. That will make him think twice before going potty in the house! LOL
Ha ha! Abby went in her bath and before I could get to her(or it) she picked it up and put it into her mouth!! She didn't like it either and immediately started spitting it out and making yucky sounds! (kind of like clearing your throat) her face was hilarious though! So, she too has had her mouth washed with soap! These definately make for great stories later in life!!
