The Infamous Potty Chair!

Ok
so I know a lot of you may think I am crazy!  I try not to be one of those hurry up and do everything mom's (like many first timers).  The story is that I bought Faith a potty chair a little over a month ago.  I thought I would put it in the living room and just let her check it out so she wasn't scared of it.  After using it for a step stool and just inspecting it a little it was just part of her play corner.  So, I thought I would put it in the bathroom and set her on it when I was in there.  I guess I was thinking that I would get her comfortable with just hanging out on it.  I honestly thought it would be months before she actually went potty on it.  It turns out the first time I put her on it she went.  So, I just continue to put her on it when she is in there with me and 95% of the time she goes.  She always goes every morning when she gets up and she has gone #2 in it several of times as well.  It is already becoming natural for her it seems.  She sits on it for less than 30 seconds before she starts going.  I give her a little toy to play with while she sits there.  She loves it.  She seems to think it is fun at the moment.  Anyhow, call me crazy but I think she will continue to do well.  She has always been an easy baby, I hope she will always be a good and easy child.  I will leave that to our training her and more so the Lord.  So, maybe by the time my second child (who I am sure will not be as calm and easy going as Faith) comes along Faith will at least be out of diapers during the day.  Though she may regress and not be consistent, we will see what happens?  But for the time being I am just going to keep on doing what I am doing.

Wow!! They say girls are easier than boys, and it sounds like it. She is the first-born, too, so wow, I say again! That's cool. Going potty sounds so grown up!

I know it breaks my heart but at the same time I don't want to discourage her from trying. I am about falling to pieces because her first birthday is the 30th.

Okay . . . so what's up with the meez???? Tommy, come on now . .. is that really suppossed to be you? I think a better likeness would be you falling flat on your face in front of an INDO Board!

okay - that WAS FUNNY!

Now - back to the important stuff - I can't believe you are potty training already - but I say go for it. Can I send my girls over?
