Our Trip!
We had a great week with Tom & Amanda Savage, along with the kiddos. It was so much fun. We saw so much of the beauty God gave us. I made a slideshow so you can just see some of the pics we took. Tom shot a doe and Amanda and I cut it up. Tommy also got a good shot at a bear the was standing on its hind legs eating out of a tree. When he got one good shot in the bear ran off fast and he could not get a second shot in. Tom & Tommy tracked the blood for a few miles but never found the bear. I guess that is probably a good thing, you really don't want get close to a mad bear. Anyhow we are glad to be home but we had a great time. I am sure Tommy might give his take on the whole thing later but for now I hope you enjoy the pics.

Oh very cool! I enjoyed the pics! I was sad when they ended! How sweet that Becky was thinking of her cousin...awwww. :) That brought a huge smile to my face! I bet you are LOVIN that new camera! I saw some wonderful shots in there!!! I especially liked the one of Austin in the beginning and some of the scenery ones... but the Austin pic is gorgeous! So glad you had a good time, and Tommy will have the story of a lifetime to tell his children's children about the bear. Good to have you back!!

Great pics, thanks for sharing them! It looks like you guys had a fabulous trip, and it looked very relaxing and serene. What a fun time! I'm glad you all could get away for a while. Also, I agree that the Austin picture is great. I also like the one of Becky's writing on the road.
Beautiful Pictures!!! It looks lovely there. I have never been to that part of the country. The pics of the kids were very good too!
