The beginning of Life!

Tommy took us on a get away this weekend to Portland, OR. We had a great time and I will share many photos of our trip with you later, but for now I would like to share the most impactful moment of our trip. We went to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry and it was a great time. I recommend all of you go. They have tons for kids to do and it was just a wonderful time. In the Science Discovery room they had a collection of fetus' from 28 days old to 38 weeks old. Yes these are real fetus' that did not survive and thus they used them for display showing life growing in the womb. It was very interesting. Already having been pregnant and imagining that little one inside of you.... but to actually see it up close and personal was a great experience. Of course there were teenagers walking by saying how disgusting that these little people looked like aliens, but for me it was an awesome display of God's creation in the womb. There was a wall filled with these little babies (pretty much one for every week of pregnancy) and every time I looked at one I thought of that potential life that didn't make it into our world, and the mothers loss. We didn't take many pictures but the first picture I want to share with you is of the first fetus that was 28 days old.

Now just think 28 days after conception that is not even far enough along to show on a pregnancy test positive results. If you could see this picture up close you can see a body, a head, arms even though as compared to Tommy's finger in the picture it is smaller than his fingertip. So, 28 days.....no one usually knows they are pregnant by this time yet( they have not yet missed a cycle) there is a little body, a little baby already formed.....and it is Okay to abort these babies when they are far beyond this point???? NO! If you could walk through and see this progression I mean how can people do this? I know, I know people say it is a woman's right her choice ect, ect. Yes it is her choice....her choice to not be intimate and create a life (If you do not want a baby don't make one). Reagan once said " I notice that everyone that is for abortion has already been born." I also shared a sign that they had posted on creation and wanted you to read it...if you can.

If you can read this...can you say GOD! Pastor taught on Christ the creator a few weeks ago and how all of nature shows his handiwork, yet people refuse to acknowledge Him. They worship the creation (mountains, sea, canyons, beauty of the earth, life(a child)) but yet won't worship the creator. I agree that it takes more faith to believe in the big bang theory than to believe in God the creator. Well, I just wanted to share these with you and just remind you how great our God is.
Romans 1:20-25

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Part of our own lust and vanities is destroying a life, you by choice, allow God to create in you and selfishly upon your own wants and desires, destroy. We all make mistakes but that doesn't mean we can't learn from them and change. Mistakes are part of all our past. I am not writing any of these things to condemn someone that has made a decision to abort a baby but rather trying to show you the precious gift of life, given by God, that we can stop this from happening.

We truly are fearfully and wonderfully made! Each and every child is truly a miracle of God. It is so incredible to see each stage of life, my children love seeing pictures from inside the womb online. We take a look at which week we are on. It is sad to think of the mothers of those babies, and the loss they suffered. But each of those precious children's souls are with Jesus, isn't that an awesome thought?
