It's the little (weird) things in life

So I (Tommy) was forced into hard, disgusting labor while my wife and kiddo were in Texas.  I like to call this torturous work laundry.  Thats right.  I did laundry.  Luckily, I have been blessed with the best wife in pretty much the entire universe.  She does 99.9% of the laundry around these parts and I love her even more for that.  But, sometimes life does cruel things to a person and you have to suck it up and deal with it.....after a lot of procrastination, of course.  So I have walked by our Washing Machine (known as the WM from here on out) about a kazillion times.  But only when I was forced to use it did I notice something weird.  Take a look at this picture I have provided for you:
Apparently, in which ever country this was made they don't have normal sizes.  You can only have EXTRA small, medium, or EXTRA large.  So let's say you have 7 pairs of socks and 2 t-shirts.  You stick them in the WM.  Do you put it on extra small or is it bigger than extra small (i.e. small)?  Does that mean that the medium setting is too big but the extra small is too small?  What if I have a load that is a little above average in size? Once again into the ol' WM with it.  DILEMMA!! Would the massive EXTRA LARGE setting swallow my clothes into the depths of the sudsy deep because I only have a large load?  These are serious questions that need to be answered people!!  Or maybe I should just stop being over-imaginative and wash my dirty clothes....nah!

I've never been faced with such a dilemma. My machine says "mini", "medium", or "super". How funny that you made me get up to look. Anyway, I agree with Charrissa...let April handle the laundry.

Haha...Just think of it this way Tommy.... the three sizes are small, medium and large but on the day in China or Japan that they were labeling those three sizes with words, the "good" translator was sick and they had to go with the second guy. He wasn't very good with the sizing words, but he knew that extra anything was good for Americans so he threw in the word extra before the word small and large. LOL But hey, WHO CARES if you mess up the load size, YOU'RE DOING LAUNDRY and that is all that matters!! I say keep it up! Helping out with that chore could be a great blessing to your wife! :)

How bizarre! Good job on doing the laundry, though I can see where your confusion lies. :)
